Charles Bergman is an award-winning writer, photographer and speaker who lives today in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. As a Fulbright Scholar this year, he’s been traveling extensively in Latin America to research the animal trade. Additionally, he’s currently:

• Publishing an article on puffins in Wildlife Conservation magazine.
• On assignment for Audubon magazine on the flower industry in Ecuador.
• On assignment for Wildlife Conservation on Tierra del Fuego.
• Just had an article on illegal wildlife trade accepted for publication in Smithsonian magazine.
• Just published several essays and articles, including the cover photo and story on Latin American frogs for Wildlife Conservation, an essay on sustainability in a collection called Placing the Academy, and an essay on Renaissance hunting in the Cultural History of Animals collection.
